About:

As a child with non-verbal autism, B felt like she’d missed the initial communication lessons all other small humans must have received. Of course, these lessons didn’t exist, but she ended up learning them from an unlikely source; the pre-owned DVD cabinet. B found a safe space with these characters and soon, TV became an utter obsession.

B has been working in the industry for over a decade and has made 12 award-winning short films which have shown at over 90 Film Festivals across the world (primarily BAFTA, BIFA and Oscar qualifying), winning awards including RTS Best Student Film. Since graduating NFTS in 2022,  B went on to direct an episode for Channel 4’s ‘On The Edge’ series. Soon after Channel 4, B was selected by Warner Bros Discovery as a directing mentee on House Of The Dragon which she worked on throughout 2023. Coming off HOTD, B was selected as 1 of 8 Filmmakers for Screen Skills ‘Step Up’ scheme and then later for BFI/104’s writing lab ‘Funny Business’ with her feature 'The Overwrite'. She is currently directing S10 of ITV's beloved show 'Grantchester'.

B has worked in a variety of genres including Comedy, Drama and Thriller but she is most drawn to Comedy Drama. B’s films centre around themes of acceptance and grief and often explore subjects that explore male friendship & vulnerability, including her two current projects in development ‘Overwrite’ (Feature) and ‘Bodies’ (TV show). Being Autistic, she is also drawn to Characters who feel like outsiders or observe the world differently.
